Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RugRoutes (the “Service”), a web application that connects to your Jobber account to plan and optimize daily routes for your team. By installing, connecting, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.

The Service reads scheduled job and visit information from your connected Jobber account, calculates optimized route plans using third-party mapping services (Google Maps Platform), and - at your direction - writes updated visit times and team assignments back into your Jobber account. You remain in control: changes are written to Jobber only when a user in your account approves a route.

You are responsible for: (a) maintaining the security of your login credentials; (b) the accuracy of the data in your Jobber account (addresses, time windows, job details) on which route plans are based; (c) reviewing route plans before approving them; and (d) ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and your agreements with Jobber and your own customers. Route plans and estimated times are computational estimates, not guarantees - real-world traffic, weather, and job conditions vary.

You retain all rights to your business data. We access your Jobber data only as needed to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Disconnecting the Service from your Jobber account revokes our access.

The Service is currently offered in a pilot phase for some accounts, which may be provided free of charge or on custom terms. During the pilot, features may change and availability is not guaranteed.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on either a monthly or an annual (billed yearly, prepaid) basis, as selected at signup. A trial period, if offered, requires a valid payment method and converts automatically to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Monthly plans may be canceled at any time from Settings; access continues through the end of the current paid month. Annual plans are billed in full up front, are non-refundable once the billing period begins, and access continues through the end of the paid year even if canceled early. Failure to collect payment may result in a warning period followed by loss of access to Optimize and Approve until payment is resolved or the plan is reactivated.

You agree not to: misuse, reverse engineer, or resell the Service; attempt to access other customers’ data; use the Service to violate any law; or interfere with its operation or security.

The Service depends on third-party platforms including Jobber and Google Maps Platform. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and your use of Jobber remains governed by your agreement with Jobber.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages - including missed appointments, fuel costs, lost profits, or business interruption - arising from use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or fifty US dollars if you have paid nothing).

You may stop using the Service and disconnect your Jobber account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice, and the “Effective date” above will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
